Printy Print Prints June 2012

When you hear the word 'prints' you most likely think of stripes, flowers, polka dots, zig zags, tribal or animal (zebra, cheetah, leopard etc). But have you thought about fruits, actual animals or food on a piece of material much less clothing?

Well this summer, bring out your inner child with these fun and cutesy prints. When I see these prints I think of when I would go with my mom to the material store in the Central or Northern part of Trinidad to buy cloth for sewing. I remember I chose plaid, polka dots and Winnie the pooh....yes I said it, Winnie the Pooh. I remember it was a long dress with spaghetti straps and I wore that for New Year's eve midnight church service...that was in the 90s ofcourse.
