As we're still in the winter season, some of us are still experiencing cold weather and  it can be a little dreary dealing with low temps and longer darker days. This weather is great for apples and grapes but it can take a toll on your fashion as you strive to stay warm.

New Year New Beauty- Jan 2018

HAPPY NEW YEAR FASHIONISTAS!

Welcome to 2018! 

I was a tad busy for the month of December and unfortunately there were no postings for Christmas into New Year's eve. That's ok, I pick up for January 2018 and I hope everyone had a great holiday season. For those of us in North America, experiencing the full or tail end effect of the blizzard, I hope you stay warm and boost up on the immune boosters as that's weather to catch that cold in.

So glancing through new beauty products, here are some that really caught my eyes to start the new year with:

MAC SCENTED PREP and PRIME

I swear....there is always an evolution of something. Depending on your level of makeup, this may or may not intrigue you but the mere fact your primer spray can be scented just adds more excitement to actually want to wear makeup. So MAC launched flavours such as Rose, Coconut and Lavender setting sprays which can be used before and after your makeup look. They're about $26 US each and should last you for a time unless you wear makeup twice a day, 7 days a week. For those of you not into scents, well the original still exists.

These are just a hot buy right now since they're pocket size and comes in natural tones. Great for work during the day and at night for dinner or drinks.

URBAN DECAY ALL NIGHTER CONCEALER

The best about these are that they're water proof and full coverage. This formula is a magnet for those who want long wearing makeup that wouldn't transfer much and this sounds like it can perform such a task as it claims to be wearable for a 24 hour period.Since it's full coverage this can definitely wear as a foundation and set with powder or that scented MAC prep and prime fix spray!
