Bye Bianca...

It's so hard to say Good-Bi...as in bye Bianca dearest. Bianca came in this competition with the fierceness to win ANTM, But that hardness not only was on her exterior but photo after photo it was expressed in her eyes. For those of you who do not watch the show, Bianca explained that she was in an abusive relationship and she was strong to leave that trial and make it her testimony for any other girl that is going through such a situation. One way she shed that pain was to shed her hair and went all Bald and Beautiful; the hair she left behind was the beginning of her new found confidence and the discovery of her true inner beauty. But maybe, it wasn't enough time for her to find her true self and being on ANTM only forced her to keep her guard up seeing that it's a competition with a series of challenges to overcome. But Bianca, if you ever read this I commend for coming to ANTM, walking away from abuse and saying yes to life. If modelling isn't for you, you have a purpose...and within that purpose is a testimony. Your strength may show too much on your body or on your face but that strength is what kept you alive and hopefully you can share this with other victimized girls.

Later for Lame LuLu

Lulu, the bold lesbian who tatooed her girlfriend's name across her left collar bone seemed as 1 of the girls with great potential. She photographs well but talking about the other girls took up most of her time rather than working on certain poses and skills learned from previous challenges. But...With all the mouth Lulu had, she couldn't perform and looked as lame as a loaf of bread...it's as if she didn't understand the assignment. The job, as short models, is to elongate yourself using props, clothes, hairstyle and shoes to appear 5'9 and above. Most of the girls got the idea by stretching their necks, legs, arms and feet either on or around the set props. But Miss Lulu just laid across the jungle gym like a piece of clothing laying out to dryin the hot sun. She looked lethargic, no smizing or emotions in her eyes and just plain limp. A rocks would have given better moves that what she did.

Ofcourse Jay wasn't not happy from the beginning with her performance and her mediocre ending gave her that 1 way ticket to HOME. Lulu, make sure your game is as good or better than your talks cuz obviously you couldn't talk your way out this 1..tsk tsk. The competition still goes strong as the other girls battle for the next ANTM! This is Fashionista Newz!

Intro of Super Smize on ANTM & C ya lata Courtney

So 1st of all I wanted to introduce a new phrase in the Fashionista world..Smize. As Tyra described it, it's when u SMILE with your EYES...it's not squinting, it's not pushing 1 eyebrow up while poutiong the mouth; all the action is in the eyes and Ms. Banks is the inventor and practicioner of Smizing! But Tyra doesn't introduce something without it having to be used..and ofcourse this was the challenge for the girls- no matter where you are, what you are wearing or who you are around, just Smize! But for some that wasn't a battle to conquer and Courtney (Ms. break-foot) was sent home. Tyra always says, the mood you're in always get's captured in your expression and if you show defeat, it will show in your photos or simply on your face. Courtney, upset that Jay asked her to keep her boot on, felt that that was a hold-up for her and just gave-up and performed 'whatever' and 'whatever' came out in the shoots. So girls learn to Smize and remember that how you really feel, always shows on your face.

P.S.-IN this season where the girls are short, they SHOULDN'T BE WEARING FLATS ANYDAY! THEY SHOULD BE WEARING ALL FORMS OF HEELS TO ELONGATE THEIR vertically challenged bodies. C'mon girls, step up the game, it's fashion!. This is Fashionista Newz!

NEWZ FLASH..Later 4 Lisa on ANTM!

1st episode is done and Lisa, who got a call back after Amber (chosen finalist) left due to personal problemos, got the cut. May I say, if you want something, you gotta go get it and morph yourself into that thing you aspire to be. Lisa..Tyra gave you a chance with your 'chonga' l-shaped eyebrows..seriously, you will look better in a Pitbull music video rather than a high fashion flip book! I say it as I see it!

Premiere of America's Next Top Model!

Ok my fellow fashionista's...guess who's on again for the fall? Yes my dears, America's Next Top Model. Yes, the Runway and The Fashion Show are all occupiers until the real show comes along and this 13th cycle is extra special and dear to me. 14 girls 5'7 and under all compete to be the Next Top Model which includes a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl, a year of representation by Wilhelmina Models and a cover and six-page spread in Seventeen magazine. I'm 5'3, so I hope my height is represented well.

America's Next Top Model can be seen on the CW network, wednesdays at 8pm. Ok fashionistas, get ready to get ur critical pens out and start the elimination process. Will keep you up to date on the drop outs and sent-homes as the episodes roll along. This is Fashionista Newz!
