Double Up- Fall Trend 2012

So I saw this in Cosmo ( & no I don't only ready Como but I love how they bring out the different) and thought this something I can try because it is so bold and yet not as noticeable as you may think it is. It looked great on the model and I did a trial of it and it actually looked great.

Basically it is wearing to shades of lipstick- top lip orange and bottom lip pink or vice versa...seriously! These 2 colours work because from far it doesn't really look like 2 colours.

The other is wearing it on your nails. Orange as your base with pink tips of vice versa. I think this is a cool transition from summer to fall and I just might try it.

PURPLE- the new black? Fall 2012

The end of August signals the beginning of the Fall season and changes in the weather would also give a sign that Fall is here. But in Florida it is hot like an oven which doesn't signal any change in season.....but regardless of that there's a colour change on the runway.

I saw this on the Today show about a week ago but Cosmo definitely confirmed it. Apparently for Fall, the brights are still there but not as rampant as PURPLE. Yes yes bring out your maroons, deep purple and amethyst cuz this will be seen in everything from clothing to accessories to cosmetics. I have a couple purple pieces so yeah I'll be swinging them out and mixing it up. But purple lipstick???? I may have to pass on that one.

Fall 2012 Fashion Alert- Printed Pants

I'm not sure how I feel about this but obviously my thoughts do not stop the runways for publishing their authentic and unique looks. That's why it's fashion, most times, ANYTHING goes.

So everywhere shelves are stocking, online is buzzing and talk shows are talking about printed pants for the season. So we're talking about snake prints, other animal prints, stripes etc..any type of print can be on printed pants. My best advice DO WEAR WITH A MONO-COLOUR TOP/BLOUSE for eg. A black top w/ leopard skinny print pants and black stilletos. DO NOT- wear all prints or a mixture of prints from head to toe unless you want to look like an unfinished born breed of leopard, zebra and snake.

Silver Bells in Summer 2012?

I'm back Fashionistas from a little vacay in Jamaica. Meanwhile I was also M.I.A. since the Olympics is on and if anyone wants to see a gala of hat azz men everyday for 10 days check out the Olympics. Im proud to say that my peoples, Trinidad and Tobago came home with3 bronzes in athletics and a GOLD in javelin (javelin u say???) yes Javelin.

Anywayz I'm not talking about actual silver bells but in August's edition of Cosmo, they mention brightening up your kicks with silver duds. Let your black heels, pumps, sandals etc take a back seat and SILVER-IT up for this summer The great thing is, silver can be worn with anything..there's no boundaries UNLESS u plan to wear a silver outfit and want to look like a roll of foil, keep the silver limited to your feet.
