The Panty Shorts

Lately there's this trend where shorts have evolved into a style what I call the "Panty-Shorts" becuz in all seriousness...it looks like female underwear becuz your butt cheeks are hanging out like clothes on a line to dry.

And here's the kicker..everybody is wearing it..old, young, slim and plus size, those with huge butts or no butts. There's low-waist, high waist and hipster cut, usually in denim and any colour in denim.

I got a pair of shorts which are high waisted but gives the illusion it's a high cut shorts which is not becuz my butt cheeks arent hanging out.

This is 1 trend where I'm not to supportive of..but that's just me.

Jump-er into Spring 2014

Helllllloooooo Fashionistas!!!

April is here already!!! Which means Spring is here...cool weather with some more sunshine. I know not every country may experience spring but you can tell there is a change because everything is in bloom from flowers, trees and plants.

So I saw since February 2014 that jumpsuits/overalls/onsies/catsuits or whatever you want to call it, has been in mainstream media as a playful alternate to jeans or dresses. They may come in bright colours, pastels or basic black, wide leg or skinnies and would look great accessorized or not.

I own 3 types...a casual denim, a formal chiffon and party spandex one. I've worn the denim many times; now to wear the other 2.

For the short gals, jumpsuits gives the illusion that you are tall, slender and posses long legs when worn with wedges, platforms or stillettos.

For the tall gals, you can wear them with heels as you don't care if you look like Avatars but nice 1-2 inch espadrilles or flat sandals will also give you the effect you're looking for.

Have a look below and as I always say...GO GET 1 OR 2 OR 3...or if you know you may have them somewhere in your closet from back in the day..try to revamp them so they are a bit modern.
