Natural & Organic Cosmetics

A few years back I decided to check out more naturalistic ways of consuming products..I think it was when I decided to return to my natural type of hair rather than using chemical relaxers, I did a lot of research on what exposure to certain chemicals will do to the human body. Human bodies were not meant to experience, process or handle a lot of things like stress, too much meat, chemical medications etc. God has placed so many herbs and fruits for us to consume to assist in detoxifying, nutrient absorption, healing and repair but due to consumerism, chemical products are cheaper and more appealing (why would that be?)

So during this time I sort to explore organic makeup- foundation, liners, mascaras etc becuz what goes into your bloodstream will affect you in some way or the other and I loveeeeeee love makeup. I researched a lot of'natural' cosmetic companies but one stuck out to me..100% pure.

The owner came up with this brand after working as a chemist for a brand name cosmetic company, she spilled some chemicals for eye cream on a thick wooden table and it burned straight through. Soooooooo if it burned thru the table...what will it do to one's skin? She came up with a formula that uses fruits & vegetables to created, cosmetics, bath and body products for skin, hair etc. Imagine their preservatives are simple kitchen things like oregano, thyme, rosemary!

I've bought their products and I'm very pleased. With the foundation, it has lasted me for a while as you only need a little. It offers full and SPF coverage and can be worn as is without a finishing powder. It looks like your skin and nourishes it with ingredients like coffee, peach, blackberry etc. I'll continue to purchase becuz I don't mind transitioning to organic cosmetics. If you don't know your colour, u can return for free and then they will send another shade. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Granted we can't escape all chemicals but try to make a shift here and there as much as you can as most chemicals are carcinogens aka cancer-causing elements. And we all know organic is not cheap but it's a life enhancing investment.
