Look ur Bess for Less! -Spring 2013

Hii Fashionistas!!!

I hope you all have access to gain some of these becuz they are truly the "bess for less!"

Affordable Make-up

I've been talking about this brand since I became a makeup junkie becuz I realize I can get the same high pigmented eyeshadows for a lesser price than MAC or Sugar Pill. Don't get me wrong, I still love those two brands and even a lil cheaper than SYN cosmetics! But with NYX COSMETICS, Each shadow runs about $4.50US.

Affordable Brushes

It is so bad that our minds are trained to think that if someone, some brand or something is NOT WELL KNOWN..then it's not something worth your time. I had the same misconception with this cosmetic line becuz it wasn't the MAC or Bobbi Brown or Clinique or Ives St. Laurent. I saw it in Target and it was...for better words..CHEAP! But cheap doesnt mean it's not good. Can I tell you I'm now re-doing my makeup brushes with E.L.F. (Eyes Lips and Face) brand as they're brushes are in the range from $1-$5US and I'll gladly recommend this to any makeup newbie or any MUA (Makeup Artist) on a budget.

Affordable Mascara

I've tried all sorts of Mascaras but I must say, Mabelline has been able to adopt great mascaras for less and Cosmo is highlighting their new Rocket Volume Mascara for about $8US.

So who says you have to spend a lot to be pretty? Not I...if you noticed, I'm a fashionable Maxinista..Isniff out the good prices for the same clothing found at the high price department stores and look just as great!

Colour Me Bad! Spring 2013

Fashionistas!

We know colour is everywhere and why not embrace it...we're in SPRING mode! Check these out:

Multi-Colour Eyeshadow

When I saw this listed in Cosmo...I was like, what a freakin genius. Stila cosmetics have formulated a mutli-pigmented eyeshadow in 1 pot. You can use individual colours, mix 2 of the colours or mix all of the colours to get a smashing colour...and what a smashing idea. These pots are great for Fashionistas on the run who don't have time to pack 3-6 eye colours in their handbag so the convenience of this product is A YES!

BLUE it is!

Shall I say more...if it's 1 colour to incorporate in your wardrobe or even your eyes is BLUEEEEE. Now most ppl who know me, knows I bleed blue..it is everywhere in my life but did you know BLUE is a calming, relaxing colour? If you didn't now u know why I incorporate it in everything!

So for those of you who want colour in their hair but are not trying to spend an arm or leg at the salon, try spraying in your colour or streaks or using hair chalk! I for 1 will experiment with hair chalk.

This BLOOMING Season- Spring 2013

Helloooooooooo Fashionistas!!!!!!!!!

It's April already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Spring brings..dum dum dum..FLOWERS n BLOOMS!!!!!!! What will Spring be without these two things which to me signals, "The Beginning of New Life!" Aside from fashion, I hope this new year and new Spring season and fwd brings new life with new joys, pleasures and goals!

So this season...blooms are everywhere..even down to accessories! I would know because I ordered some from forever 21 and I LOVE 'EM. When I think of flowers and blooms, I reflect on the novel, " The Secret Garden." If you haven't read such, you should...it gives you such an enchanting feeling and flowers create that same sort of atmosphere.

TIP- Plus size Ladies, take advantage of this trend as printed patterns balance out & accentuate your figure!
