Dear Fashionistas,
February 2011 forecasts reveals what's IN so you can fold away what's OUT. Most likely you have a couple of these pieces already and it's a slight head to toe change for some or a simple throw back for others. So take your pick or take all!
TOPS:
IN- the 'in' top now is believe it or not, a simple shirt. It's such a 2-IN-1 style, you'll probably invest in more. For the professional look at work , pair it with sleak slacks(such as wide legs which are so in this season). For the after work party or hang out, switch the slacks for skinnies or shorts with wedges or chunky clogs (yes girls clogs are back in).

OUT- Hobo tops. I guess the hippie-styled item is taking a backseat for now.
HEELS:
IN- mini pumps worn by Princess -to-be Ms. Kate Middleton, has hit not only the royal waves but the fashion waves as well and is seing smooth sailing. Mini pumps have miniature heels about 2inches compared to our fabulous 5-inch shoes we fashionistats have been dominating the streets with (yes 2 inch heels can look hott). They can be worn with anything from dresses to skirts and jeans. Try a pair not only for work but for your social occassions!
OUT- Gladiator sandals. Ok ok we still have these from last summer and the summer before but I think these can stay near the closest for easy access if these ar eyour only type of sandals.
DRESSES:
IN- The prissy A-line dress has now moved from only work-status to now casual settings. Imagine wearing one of those back in the day without looking like a Stepford wife! But stores are carrying this neat style in various prints and colours to steer away from the work humdrum of black, gray, tan and navy.
OUT- Trapeze dresses. Now I must admit i still have one in my closest but i havent worn it since 2009...so ya, this style will sit on the sidelines this season
ACCESSORY: THE PURSE
IN- Colour Bag that really accessorizes you
OUT- Suitcase bags....well it's just way 2 huge to even accentuate anything on you. Go figure.
So girls try a couple, see which ones best fit your style and which could either retire or stay near for easy wearing. Always have fun and don't be afraid to be Creative. THIS IS FASHIONISTA NEWZ!
