HAPPY NEW YEAR fellow fashionistas!
Hoped every1 had a safe one and are ready to receive a blessed year. My 1st posting for the new year will give you ideas to adopt throughout the year as phenomenally laid out by my fave mag Cosmo. Some of these you may already have, the others are on super duper sales, so why not take advantage and liven up your closet for 2011!
70's WIDE LEG PANTS & SHORT SHORTS- widelegs make another comeback and short shorts can be worn with footed tights during the winter or with a blazer for a posh look!
MILITARY JACKET & TRENCH COAT- add a belt to change up the look to your military jacket or invest in a trench that always gives a classic streamline look..THEY ARE ON SALE NOW SO MAJOR SAVINGS if you purchase them.
LACE SHIRTS OR TOPS- live a little more this year and wear ur lingerie out..meaning wear ur lace tops with anything to get in Sassy Overdrive!
CROPPED TOPS- believe it or not..navel breakers can be a hit if paired properly with wide leg pants to balance out the square-ness of the top. If worn with skinniess, it'll make you look top heavy, which is defintely an avoidance!
BACKLESS DRESS- need i say more? this gives the LBD (little black dress) a run for its money because it can be worn at weddings, parties, brunches, dates etc...the places and events this can be worn is limitless...it's Ambidexterous i tell you.
i'll be definitely using some of these throughout the year since i own a couple of these pieces. But for those of you who do not own much on this list, don't put yourself in debt. Since this collection is year round, you may want 2 snag pieces that are out of season and on sale like jackets and coats are on super sale and it's the best time to take advantage of such. Ofcourse I always encourage you to have fun and be creative and for this year, BE MORE POSITIVE, CARING AND FORGIVING! This is FASHIONISTA NEWS!
