Skinny & Dye- Jan 2013

So...... the title is a bit weird or harsh right? But it has nothing to do with weight or suicide...it's more along the lines of skinny jeans hitting a new trend.

What's this u may ask? Well Skinny jeans has been the classic denim, then it moved to coloured then brightly coloured, then neon...then there's pastels and the animal prints. But this season skinnies are being DIPPED, DYED & TIED to give that tie-dyed look from back in the days.

I'm not sure If I'll adopt this style but who's waiting on my approval, this is the new trend on the runway as a Spring Preview Collection for 2013. Would I be rude if i say coloured tie-dyed looks like God puked colours of the universe on a piece of cloth?

Lacey isn't Racey- 2013

So Fashionistas,

The bedroom-wear is coming to life this early January. For those of you that have..let's say..Lingerie..well, u can get another use out of it by pairing it with certain clothing as an outfit. Now if you have the racey type that Victoria Secret or Fredericks of Hollywood has...then that's more a 50 shades of grey type of thing.

But Lace-nistas may have a lace made top or dress or a silky night dress or sleep shorts/rompers that can be paired with a structured blazer and hawt pumps. I actually had a lace turtle neck that I wore with a skirt with stockings and boots. so in actuality your not naked but embracing ur body with style!

So it's about a lot of lace and a lot of silk...even though it's chilly in some parts of the world, models still gotta rock this on the runway in AC.

Aren't we thankful to enter into a brand new yr with new positive thoughts, dreams and goals!!! I am always excited for a brand new year because i means God has given me another 365days to make life happen. I am very grateful.

So for January, still apart of the winter season, is all about glamorizing ur feet with fab footwear; funky multi-coloured, multi-print, multi-designed shoes. In some parts of the world, it is still chilly or freezing cold..so since everything is covered why not pull attention to ur feet!
