Dear Fashionistas,
Obviously summer trends are starting to hit the shelves already and spring styles are on clearance shelves.
But this will be a very short (no pun intended) update on a current fashion- SHORT SHORTS.
According to my lovely Cosmo May 2012 issue, these booty-shorts are not just blue jeans but they come in brights, neons, varied prints, materials and cuts. Wear on the beach with your bikini top or cover-ups, or while out casually with some cute flats or dress it up with some killer wedges or pumps.
I'm contemplating getting a few coloured ones but here's a quick idea:
TIP- Dont want to buy shorts? take a pair of coloured or regular jeans u r not fond of anymore and cut close to the crutch part. There u go..SHORT-SHORTS! If you want to spruce it up, check out a fabric store for lace or crochet pieces or even studs and glitter u can glue on!
As always have fun and be creative. THIS IS FASHIONISTA NEWZ.

May-listers 2012
So my dear Fashionistas,
Lots of quirky things are out this season and as I read my fav mag Cosmo, just the most interesting things are trend setters. So what made the A-listers or the May-listers (I should say), this season? Since it is May the 5th month, here are FIVE things you can add or pull out from the bottom of ur closet:
A- for Asymmetrical
-asymmetrical cuts are having their way with dresses. High in the front low in the back or high at the sides and low in the front and back are some designs hitting the runway

C- for Cropped Top
-I mentioned bandeau tops in my previous entries, so this isn't any diff. Again it is best to wear cropped tops with high waist pants because wearing it w/ low rise just looks tacky..like a stripper! In that way, whether your stomach is flat or not, a high waist pants will camouflage that area but draw attention to the actual top giving it a Classy look.
M- for Motorcycle Vest
- who would have thunk it? A motorcycle vest as a fashion statement? I guess it is and it adds a lil more HAWTNESS to your outfit.
N- Nylon Clutch
- I guess this type of material is making a serious comeback. Yes every1 wants their leather Coach and Silk clutches but what about the Nylons? Not Stockings but the material. So here's to nylon as it is wayyy cheaper than the leathers or silks.
S-for Sports skirt
- like really? A sportsy skirt as part of a non-sport outfit. Wut? Yes...this is actually being rocked right now on the runway. To avoid looking like u just came from a tennis match, DO NOT PAIR WITH SNEAKERS..pair it up with some wedges or heels.
